Hmph.
Now I've got time (more time than I might want...) to actually think about this...
I'm not doubting the
legality of it, but that doesn't necessarily make it right. And the idea of attacking a ship that's already in pretty dire straits doesn't sit all that well with me. At the same time, though...it makes sense to get rid of them when they're not in a position to fight back.
And I can see from some of the comments to the captain's journal that plenty of people
are objecting. I do hope they realize he's not going to listen - and exactly how fine the line between raising
leji legitimate objections and insubordination or even mutiny can be. This could turn out very nasty.
Part of me thinks I'm well out of it, and I'm certainly grateful to the Captain for giving me leave, but...I should be there. Damn it. If this all goes wahoonie-shaped, I don't want to be back in Bellcius not able to
do anything.
